› TOWN MAYOR'S REPORT : 2008-09 : PLANNING COMMITTEE
The District Council has a statutory obligation to consult the Town Council on all planning applications in the Parish: the Committee undertakes the very important function of making comments about these applications on behalf of the Town Council to the District Council. The Committee also makes, or recommends, comments on highways and planning policy documents, and highways issues generally.
